I've recently taken up photography and, after a lot of encouragement, yet no formal training, I've decided to make my photos available. I'm always learning new techniques and constantly experimenting. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but I always come away from the project a more experienced person. As I've learned the way my eye sees the world and how to compose that vision through a lens, I've become relaxed and comfortable with my camera.
What knowledge I do have I try to use in my photography; having a background in architecture and a love for nature, I have become an avid fan of photographing buildings as much as natural landscapes. When on a self-assigned project, I like street photography and hardscapes; even the most mundane seeming things can be given new life when captured with the right perspective.
Most galleries are categorized by location and/or event and are listed with the most recent first, so keep that in mind when searching for photos or galleries. Although I'm not against earning the big bucks shooting for National Geographic, I'm not really interested in charging tons of money for prints of my photos; my main interest is to pay for this website and give me the ability to buy some equipment every now and then. This is why prints $1 above the normal lab fees and are available with a wide array of print sizes. Additionally, photos are available as a download, at a size suitable for full-screen viewing, for $1. And of course, no downloads or prints have the watermark seen while browsing the site. If you are interested in licensing any of my photos, please feel free to email me.
If you would like prints, but need some help getting it from my page to your door, there is a great step-by-step tutorial
here.
Along with being able to buy, download, and license photos of my outings, I am available for just about any occasion, be it architectural photography, events, or weddings. Please feel free to call with questions, and thank you for visiting!
